Our beautiful Mia — Silver Belle — has been one of the most beloved members of our family. Well-traveled across the western United States, incredibly chill, and endlessly devoted to her people, she is truly everything you could ask for in a Lab.
Mia is smart enough to enjoy a good-natured tease, affectionate with children of all ages, and remarkably patient with those who have special needs. Even in play she is gentle. She loves to run, retrieve, and keeps a sharp eye on the property — Sage Grouse, antelope, coyotes, foxes, and even the occasional sparrow are no match for her nose and instincts.
And she absolutely loves water. Pool, beach, or mountain stream — if it's wet, Mia is in it.
Now a full-time therapy dog: After a wonderful career as one of our finest breeding dogs, Mia has retired and stepped into her most meaningful role yet — serving as a full-time therapy dog for Leah's oldest child, who has special needs. Her patience, gentleness, and deep love for people make her perfectly suited for this calling. We couldn't be more proud of her.
