Puppy not yet born
Puppy already whelped
Full registration (breeding rights): An additional $1,000 will be charged on the final total for full registration with breeding rights. Breeding rights are not sold locally at this time.
Non-refundable deposit: The buyer will pay a non-refundable deposit of $100 to secure their position on the waitlist. When the litter is born, an additional $400 is due to complete the reservation for a total of $500 deposited. If placing a deposit on an already-born puppy, the full $500 deposit is due at the time of reservation. The deposit must be paid within 24 hours.
Forfeiture: If the buyer chooses not to purchase the puppy when it is time to go home, the buyer will forfeit all deposits. All money paid toward deposits goes toward the final price of the puppy.
Payment methods: The seller accepts Venmo, check, or cash for waitlist fees. The final payment is due in cash or a method agreed upon when the buyer picks up the puppy.
Pick-up timing: The puppy shall remain with its mother until 8 weeks old and/or cleared by the vet. All pick-up dates are set by the seller in the best interest of the puppy. If the puppy is not picked up within 5 business days of the pick-up date, the seller may offer the puppy to another buyer without further obligation.
Final payment: The outstanding balance must be paid to and received by the seller before the buyer takes possession of the puppy.
No guarantees on size or quality: The seller makes no guarantee of the puppy's mature size or that it will be show or breeding quality. Puppies are secured by deposit in an "as is" state — exact color and coat pattern may change, and personality is not fully apparent at an early age.
Tragic loss before 8 weeks: If the puppy dies or is determined to have a congenital defect before going home at 8 weeks that prevents it from being a companion animal, a full refund of the deposit will be given. If the defect affects sight or hearing and the buyer still desires the puppy, it will be offered at a discounted rate.
Seller's right to void: The seller reserves the right to void this transaction and refund the deposit if they feel the buyer may not be suitable for the puppy. The seller has up to 30 days to refund the deposit.
Registration rights: All puppies come with limited registration rights. Full registration rights are available for an additional $1,000 on the final total (not sold locally at this time) and require a commitment to health testing before breeding.
1-year guarantee: Your puppy comes with a one (1) year health guarantee that covers genetic health defects from the date of birth. This guarantee is between the original buyer and the seller only.
First 30 days: You must notify Cloud Peak Silver Labradors immediately if your puppy becomes ill, isn't eating well, or shows any unusual signs of distress within 30 days of purchase.
Initial vet exam: You have 72 hours from the time of purchase to have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian. We recommend scheduling this appointment before coming to pick up your puppy.
Reporting defects: If your puppy is found to have any life-threatening or genetic defects, notify the seller immediately and provide a written veterinarian's statement with the complete diagnosis within 24 hours of diagnosis. The seller reserves the right to have the diagnosis verified by another veterinarian.
Death & necropsy: If the puppy dies and the buyer requests a replacement, a necropsy must be performed by a State Laboratory at the buyer's expense. A replacement or refund will only be provided if the death was caused by a covered genetic problem or an illness present at the time of purchase.
Replacement policy: If a puppy is replaced, it will be replaced with one of equal value as soon as one becomes available, and only after the puppy and all papers are returned in satisfactory condition to the seller in Buffalo, Wyoming. The decision to provide a refund is at the sole discretion of the seller — a replacement puppy is the usual choice.
Void conditions: This guarantee is void if the buyer fails to follow veterinarian or seller medical advice, if the puppy is euthanized without prior written approval from the seller, or if the buyer fails to meet any other terms and conditions of this agreement.
Expenses: The seller is not responsible for any veterinary bills after the puppy leaves unless previously agreed to in writing. The seller is not responsible for expenses incurred while the puppy is in the buyer's care (toys, bedding, classes, etc.).
Breeding rights: No refunds or replacements will be given for conditions affecting a puppy's ability to breed. If a puppy is sold with breeding rights, the seller makes no guarantee as to the puppy being of breeding quality or ability.
Cloud Peak Silver Labradors does not cover the following conditions. Luxating patella and hip dysplasia are only covered if discovered during the initial veterinary examination, as they can be caused by injury. Kennel cough and other communicable diseases are not covered after the initial examination.
By placing a deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions of this Purchase Agreement and Health Guarantee. You will also sign and receive a physical copy of this agreement when you pick up your puppy.
